Easter Saturday and Sunday at Kinneil

Kinneil House is now open for guided tours of the interiors, including the renowned painted rooms, every Saturday at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Book tickets via the Historic Environment Scotland web page for Kinneil House. There’s also a volunteer-led guided outdoor walk on Saturdays at 12 noon – free, no booking needed!

This Saturday, 4 April, volunteers from the Friends of Kinneil are also organising free Easter craft activities for children in Kinneil Museum from 12 noon until around 3pm – bring the family along! Like the outdoor walk, there’s no need to book a house tour if you wish to join in. Kinneil Museum currently remains open free, daily except Tuesdays, 12.30pm-4pm (open from 10am on Saturdays).

Also on Saturday, 4 April, take part in some Easter Bunny games in Kinneil’s walled garden (next to the house and museum), from 1-3pm. Head to Sustainable Thinking Scotland‘s Facebook page for details.

On Easter Sunday, 5 April, at 8.30am, there will be the traditional annual outdoor early morning Easter service at Kinneil Kirk – all welcome. Check Bo’ness Parish Church‘s Facebook page for details, and there is a forecast for adverse weather, so keep an eye out for any updates.
