Kinneil House is now open for guided tours of the interiors, including the renowned painted rooms, every Saturday at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Book tickets via the Historic Environment Scotland web page for Kinneil House. There’s also a volunteer-led guided outdoor walk on Saturdays at 12 noon – free, no booking needed!
This Saturday, 19 April, volunteers from the Friends of Kinneil are also organising free ‘Eggy Activities’ for children in Kinneil Museum from 11.30am until 3pm – bring the family along. Kinneil Museum is open free, daily except Tuesdays, 12.30pm-4pm (open from 10am on Saturdays).
On Easter Sunday, 20 April, at 8am, there will be the traditional annual outdoor early morning Easter service at Kinneil Kirk – all welcome. Check Bo’ness Old Kirk’s Facebook page for details.
